DZS – a leader in smart home Wi-Fi connectivity optimisation – announced last month that it is expanding its partnership with TalkTalk Group, a major home broadband service provider in the UK. DZS has a longstanding  relationship with TalkTalk also via last years acquisition of remote Wi-Fi management experts ASSIA. DZS says the expanded partnership is one of “strategic collaboration” in order “to optimise broadband quality of experience for a large number of its direct and wholesale residential subscribers and business customers and improve efficiencies by leveraging market-leading DZS CloudCheck® and Expresse® Cloud EDGE software solutions.” The TalkTalk and DZS (ASSIA at the time) collaboration won the Wi-Fi NOW Award for Best In-home Wi-Fi Product in 2019.

DZS’ Chief Strategy Officer Tuncay Cil says DZS has recently racked up a number of significant broadband ISP wins of which the new TalkTalk agreement is but one. He also says that the nature of the broadband connectivity business is changing rapidly – and that ISPs are in a race to adapt to rising expectations from consumers. “Today, end-to-end management of the consumer experience all the way to the Wi-Fi device in the home is beyond simply delivering connectivity. The consumer experience paradigm and all that it entails – including Cloud-based solutions for Wi-Fi – is today the centrepiece of ISP operations.” Tuncay Cil will be speaking at Wi-Fi World Congress Americas in Rio de Janeiro on March 27-29. DZS is a Wi-Fi NOW Partner.

A comprehensive overview of the cyber-attack landscape to help you better address consumer concerns and deliver state-of-the-art security

The Internet of Things (IoT) is an exciting prospect for homeowners and small businesses alike, but potential cyber-attacks may well stand in the way of more widespread adoption. Wary consumers have also raised concerns over cyber-security and are calling for protective measures. Communications Service Providers (CSPs) are well positioned to deliver integrated solutions that mitigate these cyber-security concerns.

Read this whitepaper to learn more about:

  • How and why IoT security challenges exist.
  • The evolution of the IoT threat landscape.
  • Where the vulnerabilities are in the CSPs’ and consumers’ networks.
  • How CSPs can mitigate attacks at every stage of service delivery.

The Internet has become one of our most relied-upon tools; it has already altered the way we interact, the way we spend our time, and the way we consume information.

This is where advanced networks are fast becoming a linchpin of intelligent digital infrastructure, opening infinite possibilities for individuals and businesses to connect, share information, and collaborate in ways that were not possible before

While consumer demand for uninterrupted connectivity will continue to drive the most advanced technologies, the world’s digital connections will grow broader and faster, providing a platform for every industry to boost productivity and innovation.

The new connectivity architecture includes Mesh Wi-Fi to maintain independence from the traditional cellular networks that rely on towers.

What should you know about Mesh Wi-Fi?

Undoubtedly, adopting mesh is sublime, resulting in every nook and cranny of the home soaked in high-speed Internet. It is recommended for environments with weak or incomplete coverage and for people who want an uncomplicated way to set up a Wi-Fi system. Mesh systems enable devices in your network to have faster speeds, greater coverage, and a more reliable connection. While traditional routers broadcast Wi-Fi from a single point, mesh Wi-Fi systems have multiple access points.

Are you ready to experience uninterrupted connectivity?

We are introducing IO Weave—a quantum leap in Home Wi-Fi!

HFCL Limited, a leading high-tech company with its product brand IO, launched the IO Weave-EasyMesh certified Home Mesh Router at IMC, India, on October 1st, 2022.

IO Weave is an innovative home connectivity product based on the Wi-Fi 6 standard. It is designed to deliver end-to-end connectivity, low latency, high reliability, advanced roaming & band steering, 5dBi integrated high-performance antenna, 1024 QAM support, up to 23 dBm transmit power, dual-band dual-concurrent support on 2.4 and 5 GHz RF bands, and peak data rates up to 3 Gbps and Channel size support of 20/40/80/160 MHz to support whole-home coverage.

Prasad Balakrishnan, VP at HFCL, said channel bandwidth of a wireless signal determines that signal’s data rate. The higher the channel bandwidth, the faster the connection. The use of 160 MHz channel bandwidth is one of the key features of Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) standard and HFCL’s IO Weave comes with 160MHz Channel bandwidth support and can connect up to 256 clients per router.

The product comes with a mobile app, enabling customers to manage and control the home network from their Android and iOS smartphones. Users can enjoy steady connectivity with features to set speed limits, Wi-Fi timing, advanced parental controls, and flexible guest access.

Say goodbye to dropped signals, spotty connections, and fragmented networks with IO Weave, fuelling the edge of innovation. It guarantees highly scalable, flexible, and secure mesh home networks with never-before-seen Wi-Fi speed, boosting customer satisfaction and connectivity experience.

How does IO Weave work?

A mesh network allows Internet connection extension throughout the home, wherein each router works like a standalone, but they can all communicate with each other.

It expands Wi-Fi connections without sacrificing quality or latency, enabling far more control over who can access what and when.

Irresistible benefits of IO Weave

  • One network for your entire home
  • Stable long-range connectivity
  • Easy setup and management
  • Self-healing
  • Adaptive routing
  • Better coverage
  • Minimizing dead zones
  • Controlled by a mobile app
  • Easy configuration

Supporting use cases

  • Condominiums
  • Townhouses
  • Villas
  • Multi-dwelling units
  • And beyond!

Bhuvnesh Sachdeva, SVP at HFCL, said IO Weave is powered by Wi-Fi 6 and offers an unparalleled user experience in every home corner. Eliminates Wi-Fi dead zones, dropouts, and buffering issues. It is purpose-driven for cafés, restaurants, multi-dwelling units, shared living & workspaces, and all types of homes.

The Bottomline

Mesh Wi-Fi is a perfect solution for places with weak or incomplete Internet coverage. IO Weave offers an immersive connectivity experience while supporting burgeoning network demands.

It is designed with the latest mesh Wi-Fi technology to build a network that self-configures, self-manages, and self-optimizes, ensuring the best route to the Internet.

Indio Networks is proud to launch the much awaited it’s WiFi Service Management Platform for managing Community WiFi hotspots at Africacom 2022 in Cape Town on 8th November 2022. The new platform offers satellite broadband operators, ISPs and managed service providers a fully integrated, next-generation platform for centrally managing all their community WiFi deployments. The platform mimics several features offered by Facebook’s ExpressWiFi platform that was widely popular among the ISPs and satellite broadband operators all over the world.

Access to the Internet is becoming the fundamental right of every citizen of the World. It is widely accepted fact that 21st century is going to be a knowledge and digital century and Internet access will ensure democratization of knowledge and opportunities. This is especially true for developing and less developed economies who are investing in building digital infrastructure for their citizen.

Over last decade, Meta (formerly Facebook) has worked on many projects worldwide to bridge the digital divide and connecting the unconnected. With this intent, it launched its ExpressWiFi program to help operators build digital infrastructure in remote regions of the world. The program provided WiFi infrastructure and technology to operators and Internet service providers to deploy community WiFi hotspots worldwide. The main goal of this project was to bring Internet access to far flung regions of the world and offer affordable, reliable and fast Internet to the people living in these regions.

In early 2022, Meta decided to wind down the ExpressWiFi program and focus on other important projects. It meant that the service providers who used Express WiFi platform had to find an alternative solution to continue their services. Indio Networks decided to take up this responsibility and offer a fully integrated Service Management Platform (SMP) for managing remotely Community WiFi deployments.

Commenting on the launch of the new platform, Indio Network’s CEO Mr. Rishi Ghare said “We believes that Internet access is a fundamental right of every citizen and WiFi hotspot is the best last mile technology to offer fast, reliable and affordable Internet service to the remote regions. Indio is really proud to partner with leading ISPs and satellite broadband operators to bring affordable Internet services to far regions of the world.  Every time when a child learns, doctor treats a patient, families communicate with each other or a local entrepreneur builds successful business using our WiFi hotspots, it gives a great deal of satisfaction and accomplishment to us. Indio is looking to partner with operators worldwide to replicate this success stories.”

Indio’s community WiFi platform (Indio Connect) currently serves over 2500 remote villages in South Amercia, Africa and Asia. It expects the deployments to double by end of next year. For more information, please visit www.indionetworks.com

The NPS system is one of the most popular customer experience measurement tools used on the market today. The scoring system is a simple, easy-to-understand score between -100 and +100 that translates many metrics into a single customer experience score. Read on to learn the many uses millions of businesses use to measure and track how their customers perceive them.

How is the Net Promotor Score Used
The NPS measures customer satisfaction across many metrics customized to the business’s services and needs. It is calculated based on experience, processes, ease of use, and the product or service itself. There are a few great reasons to implement NPS scores in your business.

Measure Customers Satisfaction
One of the most important aspects of any business is customer satisfaction. You can collect honest customer feedback with NPS to better understand their experience. A higher NPS score indicates your customers are satisfied with your business and likely to continue shopping. Lower scores indicate dissatisfaction and could show you need to improve specific areas.

Assess Business Growth
Collecting data through NPS scores can allow you to understand your business growth over time as you identify patterns and improve. It can help you increase your performance as a business by creating brand trust and loyalty by focusing on improving customer satisfaction.

Measure Customer Loyalty
It’s hard to determine brand loyalty outside of Net Promotor Scores. You can incorporate metrics through NPS feedback to determine customer loyalty after purchase and the likelihood of returning. Understanding your position in your market and the health of customer loyalty can allow you to create marketing efforts to keep customers happy and win back customers disappointed with your services or products.

Why is Measuring NPS Important?
Implementing Net Promotor Score measurements through customer feedback is an ongoing effort. Your customer satisfaction can change and evolve. If you’re not consistently collecting information, you may lose sight of your goals, and your brand’s reputation may go downhill. You can connect better with your customers and get insight into the feedback you may have missed.

When your NPS scores come in with negative numbers, you are presented with a unique opportunity to reach out and turn the customer experience around. You can prevent further issues by catching problems before they snowball. If you can maintain a positive score, your customers will be happier and likely to spread positive feedback through word of mouth.

The Net Promotor Score is a vital metric that measures customer loyalty and satisfaction to help you develop your business into a positive brand in your target market. You can use NPS scores to create goals to make improvements or ensure efforts remain consistent and give yourself to stand out among the competition.
